Panasonic Commerical!!

Panasonic Commerical!!

I just got back from my $200 Pansonic photo shoot! It was hilarious! If you have ever seen the movie Lost in Translation, it was like that. It was a handful of my friends and I sitting in a bar with martinis and wine. We were wearing "elegant casual" clothes.

Panasonic apparently has just released a "wide-angle" lens camera. Apparently a first in a digital hand-held camera. So the shoot was in a bar and they took pictures with both the standard Panasonic camera and then again with the wide angle camera to show the buyer the difference. It was a lot of fun and basically free drinks and money!

Click on the title and you will see the U.S. website, i will be in the Japanese website but you can get a good idea of what the pictures would be like. I will also be in some commericals as a still photo.

Baseball!

Baseball!

I finally got on the field for my first baseball game in the Japanese City League. I started at 3B for the Osaka Hitension. I started off a bit shaky just getting used to the communication troubles. We spent a long time before the game making sure i knew the signals given from the manager. I settled down after the 2nd inning. In the last inning i fielded a strong grounder to third and relayed it to first for an impressive out. I also had one hit in the game. Not to make excuses but everyone on my team said that the strike zone for me (the only foreigner in the 20 team league) seemed a bit big today. I was called out on strikes on a ball (in my team team and I's opinion) was around my ankles. I am sure i will play a lot better for the second game!
