Today I tried to buy baseball tickets. In November, an All-Star Team from the MLB will play a Japanese All-Star team in Osaka. There will be a series of games in Japan, but only one in Osaka. I like baseball, and when i found out that Johan Santana will be pitching, i decided to buy some tickets.
This is it. The pinnacle of melons. This is the ONE melon that all other melons in the world are judged against. I found this store that has top-of-the-line fruits. I'm talking pyramid shaped watermelons, an $8 apple and then this. One cantelope for the equivalent of $180. Yes, one hundred and eighty dollars. It comes with a nice yellow bow and a ring on the bottom to act as a stand. It is also certified grown from a melon club. (I didnt know melon clubs existed). I can't even imagine what it would taste like to sink your teeth into a spoonful of the "Best of Melon". Hell, i'd even eat the $180 seeds.
No, they dont serve chicken here. I applaude this eatry for getting to the point in regards to their menu. I haven't gone here (yet) but i would be curious if there is also Horse on the menu (as that seems to be a popular odd item to eat.
Well I just got back to Osaka. I spent a little over two weeks back home in Minnesota. Yuning and I had a lot of fun back home. It was great to see my whole family too!
